The “Texas Battle Flag” is a tribute to any “Texan” who contributes to America. The flag is uniquely designed and numbered as a collectible item. It is recognized as a Texas Battle Flag. The last time a Texas Battle Flag was recognized was in or about 1836.
The Texas Battle Flag was debuted in a Christmas Parade in Taylor, Texas in 2003, then went to Tikrit, Iraq after the capture of Saddam, December 13, 2003.
The flag made a worldwide presentation on the Armed Forces Television Network early in 2004.
The White House picture was taken in November 2004.
One of the flags is at Disney World since 2006.

Dear Ms. Callahan,
Thank you for your letter and for the unique Texas / American flag. You are kind to think of me, and I am grateful for your generosity.
I appreciate your telling me about the origin of the flag’s design, as well as the Texas roots of its star and stripes. And I am pleased to have a photograph of the flag’s visit to Iraq.
I admire your work to save Taylor’s historic Bath House and hope I will be able to visit it someday.
With best wishes,
Laura Bush
